I have done my Bachelors in Computer Sciences from BITS-Pilani (GPA of 9.2/10). I am currently working as a Software Engineer. I love working on latest web technologies and keep myself up to date with the latest tech news.
Experience
I have 2+ years of tutoring experience as a Teaching Assistant in BITS Pilani (highly reputed college of India). I have been a teaching assistant for the courses of Web Designing, Advanced Programming, and Machine Learning. As a teaching assistant, I have given lectures on web designing, JAVA, and some machine learning concepts like Neural Networks. I was also responsible for guiding the students in their homework and in-class assignments. The feedback from students was overwhelmingly positive. I have also done online tutoring for 6 months, mostly through skype. In there, I used to teach many programming languages like HTML, Java, C/C++, MATLAB, PHP, CSS, XML. I also taught basics to web-designing to a few students. Programming is my passion. I was from non-computer background and had to struggle initially to understand various Computer Science topics. Hence I know how to approach various computer science topics when teaching to an absolute beginner. I did the same during my teaching assistant duties and got a lot of praise from both Professors and students. I had straight A's in all my programming courses. I also love designing websites. I have 4 websites already running and somewhat popular in college. I have also taken some classes of web-designing when I was a teaching assistant. I converted the concepts of website building into a layered approach which won me a lot of praise from students. In my internship, I developed a mobile friendly responsive website of DocSuggest.com using Twitter Bootstrap and PHP.
